The factory has obtained the approval of HACCP.
On 30th January Japan Foods obtained approval (the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare) of the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) for soft drink manufacturing at all the manufacturing lines at the Japan Foods factory. The approval was the second approval of HACCP (including Japan Foods) in the soft drink sector, followed by the first approval (by three companies) in October 2001. HACCP is one of the quality control techniques, which is highly appreciated as evidence of the ability of quality control for Japan Foods together with ISO9001: 2000 acquired as another certification last year. Japan Foods intends to continue the stable provision of safe and good quality products by further improving its ability for quality control from now on, and would like to continue to make efforts to obtain further trust from its customers.
